Bystanders stepped in to rescue a small, naked boy who had run out onto a busy highway in Surrey earlier this week, police say.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) tells CityNews it received reports of the child almost being hit by cars on Highway 10 near 148 Street shorlty before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Video posted online shows the child running across the roadway before two adults rushed in to pick him up.
“A short time later, the boy was reunited with his family,” the SPS said.
Police say the child and bystanders appear to be uninjured.
