The friendships formed away from the rink often extend beyond team rivalries.
What is interesting is the Canadiens’ decision to officially share it all, specifically naming a player who plays for a rival team…
And especially a player who has requested a trade!
A subtle nod that fuels speculation surrounding Dylan Larkin
Seeing an organization so clearly mention an opposing player in an official statement is out of the ordinary.
That said, we love it. And we love that the Canadiens chose to highlight this small gathering between Caufield, Larkin, and Zegras.
The gesture did not go unnoticed by fans, as you can see in the comments section.
We can’t wait to see where Dylan Larkin is ultimately traded after requesting a move from the Detroit Red Wings, especially since there happens to be a certain team in Montreal that is looking for another quality center.
