Toronto man, 29, wanted after shots fired in Scarborough

Police are on the lookout for a 29-year-old Toronto man after shots were fired on Saturday in Scarborough’s northeast end.

Toronto Police said they responded to a shooting call on Saturday at about 3 p.m. in the Morningside-Old Finch Ave. area, where the suspect was involved in an altercation with the victim.

Police said the suspect then allegedly produced a firearm and discharged it before fleeing from the scene.

Bernell Prince Galloway is wanted for discharging a firearm, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm and two counts each of unauthorized possession of a firearm and uttering threats of death or bodily harm.

He is 5-foot-8 with short black hair and a dark beard.

Toronto Police are appealing for the driver of a truck to contact them after a boy operating a scooter collided with a van last week in York.

Police said they responded to “see ambulance” call on Tuesday at about 4:45 p.m. in the Dynevor Rd.-Rowan Ave. area, where an 11-year-old boy riding a scooter northbound on Dynevor lost control and collided with a parked silver van.

The boy was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police said they would like to speak to the driver of a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck that was spotted in the area at the time of collision. They are also trying to locate the owner of the parked van.
