Conor McGregor Teases Final UFC Fight After Injury

And apparently, it will be his final fight.

“What was to be a generational beating is now to be reset,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “IFW 2027 The Last Dance.”

That would open the door for McGregor to field offers from other promotions and platforms, including a possible MVP MMA fight against Nate Diaz on Netflix, a bare knuckle move to BKFC or even a return to boxing.

And while it might sound crazy that UFC would let its golden goose fly away, the reality is complicated.

McGregor will be 39 years old by the time he returns, is currently riding a three-fight losing streak and has not won a fight since stopping Donald Cerrone in 2020.

That does not exactly scream long-term future.

Of course, a lot can happen in one year, especially when McGregor is involved. Maybe UFC re-signs him. Maybe “The Last Dance” is just another tease. Maybe he fights once more and walks away for good.

But for now, expect McGregor to return in July 2027.
