The ownership of the Connecticut Sun plans to present multiple options for a sale to the WNBA, sources told ESPN.

The options are likely to include a full sale to Steve Pagliuca’s group for $325 million, a sale to a Connecticut-based group featuring Marc Lasry, and allowing the league to purchase the team for $325 million and move it to another market.

Pagliuca’s group plans to move the team to Boston. Lasry’s group would keep the team in Connecticut and move it to Hartford.

It is also rumored that the WNBA wants to move the team to Houston.

The Mohegan tribe, which has owned the Sun since 2003, is seeking more clarity after Pagliuca’s bid was met with resistant from the league.

The tribe is reportedly frustrated and feels that the league is pushing towards a move to a new market. The WNBA offered $250 million to buy the team and relocate it prior to Pagliuca’s larger bid.

There is also concern within the league that should the team move to Boston, it would not be able to play every home game at TD Garden due to scheduling issues.Â
