Edmonton police say a man is dead after being shot on Tuesday morning near 112 Avenue and 149 Street.
EPS responded to a report of a shooting at a business around 11:35 a.m., and when they arrived at the scene, they found a 39-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.
Paramedics also responded, treated the man before taking him to a hospital, where he later died. EPS says an autopsy has been scheduled for July 29.
Reports indicate that a man was seen fleeing the area on foot around the time of the shooting. Investigators are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the matter or who may have dashcam footage of the area between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on July 28.
