In a significant development, Peel Regional Police have arrested two individuals linked to a brazen robbery that occurred earlier this year at a hotel in Mississauga. The incident took place in the early hours of March 7th, around 3:30 a. m. , near Hurontario Street and Derry Road. During the robbery, an adult male was allegedly held at gunpoint by three suspects and suffered minor injuries. The suspects fled the scene, but a search warrant executed at the hotel led to the recovery of a firearm and the arrest of Abdoulkader Abdi, a 33-year-old from Toronto.
Recently, police also apprehended Kimberly MacIntyre, 28, from Mississauga, and Latef Tag El Din, 30, from Calgary. All three face charges related to robbery and firearm offences, though these charges have not yet been proven in court. This case underscores ongoing concerns about public safety and legal accountability in the Greater Toronto Area.

Your Rights and Options
In Ontario, victims of crime are protected under the Victim Bill of Rights, which ensures access to information, protection, participation, and restitution. If you are a victim of a crime, you have the right to report it to the police and to receive updates on the investigation. Additionally, you may be entitled to compensation through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board if you have suffered physical or emotional harm. It’s also essential to know that witnesses play a crucial role in the justice process, and there are protections in place for those who come forward with information.
If you have been affected by a similar situation or need legal guidance, reaching out to legal professionals can help you navigate your options. They can assist in understanding your rights, providing representation, and ensuring that justice is served in your case.
