The OnePlus 13 was one of the most underrated phones of the past year, and its sequel is starting to shape up. Apparently, the OnePlus 15 will be launching with a 165Hz display, among other tweaks.
Leaker Digital Chat Station says to expect the OnePlus 15 to jump from the existing 120Hz refresh rate up to 165Hz, though that may or may not be final at this point. This would be the first jump in refresh rate for OnePlus since 2020’s OnePlus 8 Pro first adopted a 120Hz display.
165Hz smartphones aren’t particularly uncommon, but they’re usually only found in gaming-centric devices.
The same post reiterates that OnePlus is working on a “super black” color for this device, which may be called “Moon Rock Black,” or so the translated post claims. In a previous post, DCS said that OnePlus would be using “new materials.”

Further mentioned is a “Sandstone magnetic case” and Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, neither of which come as surprises.
The OnePlus 15 is likely to be unveiled before the end of the year, with a launch in China preceeding a global debut if prior years are any indication.
