Tofiq Musayev scored the biggest victory of his career thus far earlier today (Sat., Aug. 1, 2026) at UFC Belgrade LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Belgrade Arena in Belgrade, Serbia, putting a stop to lightweight veteran Ludovit Klein with a second-round TKO (punches).

Klein came into Saturday as a sizeable favorite which was a bit of a surprise. While “Mr. Highlight” had won four out of his last five trips to the Octagon ahead of UFC Belgrade he hadn’t scored a finish since early 2024. That meant that Musayev, who was coming off a win over Ignacio Bahamondes, would have time to work and find his own window for a stoppage.

After a first round that saw a lot of damage done to Klein’s lead leg, Musayev began to get busy with his hands. The fighter from Azerbaijan ended up landing a huge combination along the cage that caught Klein flush and forced him to cover up on the ground. Musayev rushed in for a barrage of ground-and-pound before the referee stepped in and called a stop to the action.
