EDMONTON – The second half of the CFL game between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Elks was delayed 81 minutes due to lightning in the vicinity of Commonwealth Stadium.

Lightning strikes were visible in the Edmonton sky at halftime.

The teams returned to the field at 7:30 Mountain/Saskatchewan time for a 10-minute warmup. The game resumed at 7:40.

The Riders led the Elks 14-13 at the break. Quarterback Tommy Stevens had both touchdowns for the visitors.
