Pro cycling’s transfer season for 2027 is officially underway, and though the strict August 1 rule no longer exists, the first day of the month still marked a flurry of transfer announcements and the start of what will be a busy few weeks of moves.

Prior to August 1, plenty of contracts have already been extended, and some transfers have been announced or confirmed. Some moves have already taken place mid-season, too, as there are different rules for signing riders who don’t currently have a professional contract. Plenty have teams have already confirmed signings of neo-pros from their development squads too.
