Garage destroyed in early morning fire in Mississauga

A detached garage was destroyed in an early morning fire in Mississauga.

Crews were called to the blaze on Rolling Stone Court, near Hillcrest Avenue and Confederation Parkway in Cooksville, at around 5:15 a.m. today, a Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson told INsauga.com.

The detached garage is a “complete write off,” the spokesperson said. But the fire did not spread to surrounding buildings, he added.

There were no injuries reported.

A fire inspector is expected to look into the cause of the blaze.
