We are pleased to report another week of positive progress for all players currently undergoing rehabilitation. Each player continues to work closely with the club’s medical and performance teams, gradually stepping up their individual programmes with the aim of meeting their expected return dates.
Harry Pinchard | Knee | Expected Return to Play – End of September
Harry continues to make encouraging progress in his recovery and is responding well to the demands of his rehabilitation programme. He is aiming to return to training within the next two weeks, where his workload will be carefully increased as he works towards full fitness. Harry is currently on course to be back in contention for selection towards the end of September.
Josh Taylor | ACL | Expected Return to Play – October
Josh has maintained his highly professional approach throughout his rehabilitation and continues to make steady progress. His commitment to each stage of the recovery process has been excellent, and he remains on track to return to training with the squad during September. From there, Josh will gradually increase his involvement as he works towards a return to competitive action during October.
Jimmy Muitt | Knee | Expected Return to Play – Mid to Late September
Jimmy has experienced another positive week as we continue to build him back towards full fitness. He is progressing well through his rehabilitation programme, with his workload being gradually increased ahead of his return to the training pitch. We expect Jimmy to resume training at the end of August, with his return to play anticipated approximately two to three weeks later.
Dan Gallagher | Back | Expected Return to Training – September
Dan has also made positive progress with his rehabilitation this week and continues to work hard towards the next stage of his recovery. Dan is scheduled to begin the next phase of his rehabilitation programme next week, which will allow him to further increase his workload. The current aim is for him to return to training at the beginning of September.
Isaac Philpot | Ankle | Expected Return to Play – Awaiting Assessment Results
Isaac sustained an ankle injury during the warm up ahead of our game against Charlton Athletic. He is currently being assessed to establish the full extent of the injury and to determine the most appropriate course of treatment and rehabilitation. We are awaiting the results of these assessments and will provide a further update on his condition next week.
