Tripwire Presents, the publishing division of Tripwire Interactive, and independent Turkish developer BEF Games today announced the launch of the new Underground Economy update for their open world action-simulation and management game, The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire on PC via Steam Early Access. The new update further expands Night City’s criminal underworld through new business systems letting players diversify their criminal portfolio, the addition of safehouses for when the heat is on, expanded vehicle gameplay and new training activities to pump their stats, along with numerous performance improvements and fixes.

The Underground Economy content update includes:
Market Tycoon System: Order products and arrange shelves to create and operate a legitimate supermarket enterprise, in addition to acting as a front for bootleg alcohol production.
Dealers and Turf Assignment: Assign loyal family members to manage sales after capturing distribution zones and customize their weapons and skillsets via the Criminal Activities menu.
Underground Skill Training: Visit the Gym to increase Power and Fight skill attributes through weight lifting and sparring on the punching bag, or train at the Shooting Range to improve Vision stats.
Police Heat System and Safehouses: Family members can now duck into owned properties across the city and players can slip into a nearby hideout to clear wanted levels, while responding officers now operate with lethal force.
Vehicle and Logistical Improvements: Quickly pick up nearby family members with a single button prompt while driving in the new toggleable Driving Camera view.
Performance Tweaks and Mission Expansions: Major optimizations to improve frame rates, introducing adjustable TPS Camera View Distance alongside expanded Office Mission locations and stability fixes.
The free Underground Economy update deepens territory control, criminal logistics and management depth in Night City, marking another major step in development for The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire as it continues through Steam Early Access. To celebrate the latest update, the title is discounted 20% off its regular price until Aug. 8.
