Thursday’s sixth stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift went to Kim Le Court-Pienaar from a high-powered breakaway that contained Sarah Van Dam. Van Dam came fourth. Marlen Reusser kept the yellow jersey.
Wednesday’s GC Shakeup
Demi Vollering was still breathing down yellow jersey Marlen Reusser’s neck after Wednesday’s rollercoaster parcours. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot’s chances seemed to be over. Seventh-place Isabella Holmgren now trailed Antonia Niedermaier by 25 seconds in the white jersey competition.
Vollering’s Wednesday win has her in the catbird seat.
Another Hilly Day
Thursday is similar to Wednesday with six categorized climbs spread over 153 km and will hopefully elicit the same kind of action.

The peloton was intact when it went over Cat. 4 Côte de Périgneux, Puck Pieterse adding to her QOM total at the top. By the next climb, Côte de la Prunerie, a trio of breakaways was up the road. They wouldn’t escape the peloton’s attention with FDJ United-Suez racing with intent.
The hardest climb of the day was the penultimate one, Cat. 2 Col de Lalouvesc, 8.6 km of five percent. The breakaways were grabbed on its lower slopes. Pieterse nabbed the maximum mountains points.

Célia Gery sprang an attack on the descent. Pieterse, Van Dam, Elisa Longo Borghini and a couple of others joined in. This move reached the foot of the day’s final climb with a 30-second gap. Pieterse claimed the points. Two riders bridged over with 11 km to go.
Le Court-Pienaar attacked with 4 km to go. Danger. When the others brought her back, Riejanne Markus was the next to go but she was yanked back as well. She tried it again, leading under the red kite. Again she was recovered.
Le Court went early and no one could reach her.
Friday ends on the ferocious Mont Ventoux.
