Aini, who went by ‘Sara’ or ‘Sarah,’ was last seen near her apartment in June 2022. Her family, based overseas, reported her missing three years later in June 2025. According to police, this significant delay has hindered their ability to gather sufficient evidence to lay charges.
Despite exhaustive efforts by the investigation team, no new leads have emerged, prompting the suspension of the case. However, Detective Kevin Robbie assured the family that the case could be reopened if new information arises.
