Crews were on scene for another fire at Boujee restaurant in downtown Winnipeg on Saturday.
It’s at least the third fire at the restaurant in the past year, after it was hit by suspected arson last fall and was on fire again Sunday night.
Fire crews responded to the now-vacant Boujee Restaurant and Bar at 191 Main St. just before 6 a.m. on Saturday, the city said in a release.
Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the building when they arrived. They used aerial ladders to spray water onto the fire from above the blaze.
The building will undergo an emergency demolition to make sure the fire is completely out, the city said.
It is expected to be demolished on Saturday.

After the fire there last Sunday, the building was badly damaged with fire, smoke and water damage, according to a past city release, and the cause was under investigation.
The restaurant was previously the scene of a fire on Oct. 23. Around that time, several other downtown-area eateries and other places were victimized by suspicious fires.
About a month later, Winnipeg police charged a man with 22 offences related to arson, break-ins and damage at 11 different locations between June 11, 2025, and Nov. 18, 2025.
Those included fires at the constituency offices of Families Minister Nahanni Fontaine and Homelessness and Addictions Minister Bernadette Smith.
Jesse Wheatland was accused of offences at several businesses in the Exchange District and downtown areas, including Commonwealth Kitchen and Bar, Johnny G’s, the Palomino Club, Boujee, La Roca and Tipsy Cow.
He remains in custody, and court records show he’s due to stand trial in May and June next year.
