BURNABY – Jorian Baucom and Keelyn Stewart scored in the first and sixth minute of second-half stoppage time as the visiting Calgary Wild rallied to beat the Vancouver Rise 3-2 in Northern Super League action on Saturday.
It was the first win of the season for the Wild in 15 matches.
With the Rise ahead 2-1, Vancouver’s Tori Tumeth was issued a red card in the 84th minute and the Wild went to work on netting the equalizer.

Taegan Stewart gave the visitors a 1-0 lead when she converted a penalty in the 47th minute at Swangard Stadium, but Jessica De Filippo tied it nine minutes later, and then scored the go-ahead goal in the 65th minute.
The Rise slip to five wins, nine losses and one draw for 16 points, while the Wild improve to one win, 12 losses and two draws for five points.
The Rise controlled 54 per cent of the game’s possession. The shots were even at 12-12, but the visitors were ahead 8-4 on on-target shots.
