It’s been a dramatic day for the EastEnders, in our first trip to Albert Square of the week.
Watching the Fox family like a hawk, Sheila Atkins (Sheila Ruskin) spoke with murderous grandson Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) from his prison cell, promising to execute their plan within the coming days.
Now that she’s obtained his son Jordan Fox’s (Jahsaiah Williams) passport, Sheila plans to take him out of the country.
Gray said he’d try and find the perfect opportunity for her to snatch the youngster, but was worried that should fellow prisoner Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) be released, it could be ruined.
His idea was to drip poison in Ian’s ear about Jordan’s mum Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams), and promise him protection in exchange for a meeting with her.

Ian assured him that he was fine, but Gray warned that some of the prisoners who have received life sentences could eventually turn on him. After witnessing a gang of lads fighting in the recreation room, Ian was thoroughly terrified.
He accepted the murderer’s offer, accepting a shaven off toothbrush as a makeshift weapon. He then called Chelsea from a burner phone, asking to see her the following morning.
To Gray’s surprise, Chelsea reluctantly agreed.
What does he have planned?
Elsewhere in Walford, Ricky Branning (Frankie Day) was terrified that the police would realise his bike lock was the one used during the attack on Joel Marshall (Max Murray).
Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) had promised Joel had they’d get to the bottom of the situation, while DC Craig Ingram (Matthew James-Bailey) remained hot on the heels of the teens that were involved.

He caught the group chatting beside the garages, each performing their own intense questioning to try and get to the bottom of the situation.
After reminding them that he’d yet to log the video of Joel being soaked in beer to his colleagues, he whisked Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) off for some private, informal questioning.
She told him that Ricky wasn’t involved, and he promised that he was on her side. When her dad Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) approached, Craig pretended that he was doing a welfare check.
Later that day, Amy and Craig crossed paths again. He said he’d send her his personal number, just in case she wanted to get in touch while he was off duty.
Should Amy be wary of Craig’s intentions?
