Police have charged a Brampton man with aggravated assault after a victim was stabbed in Mississauga.
The incident happened on Aug. 1 at a commercial unit in the area of Dixie Road and Aimco Boulevard in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police say.
One adult male was stabbed and rushed to a local trauma centre in serious but stable condition and is expected to recover, police say.
Investigators identified the suspect as Gregory Darling, 32, of Brampton and urged him to turn himself in.
Police now say Darling was arrested on Aug. 2 and has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
Peel police say the accused was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
