Another famous sports stadium is about to be turned into a golf course – and you’re not going to want to miss this one…
We have seen it at Everton Football Club’s new state-of-the-art waterfront stadium. Another even more iconic soccer stadium, Real Madrid’s Bernabeau, is about to get the golf course treatment, too.
And now Upper Deck Golf, the brand that is giving fans the unique opportunity to hit balls around their favorite sporting cathedrals, is returning to one of the most revered ballparks.
Thanks to a partnership between Upper Deck and the Los Angeles Dodgers, golf will return to the Dodger Stadium once again this winter.
Between December 4 and December 6, 2026, fans will have the opportunity to tee off from the upper-level seating in the stands towards custom greens on the playing field. After “nine holes” of golf hitting to different pin locations with lofted clubs, there are also putting, driving and closest to the pin challenges.
“We’re thrilled to once again partner with Upper Deck Golf and to give our fans the opportunity to golf at this beautiful ballpark,” said Chris Koenig, the Dodgers 365 Executive Director. “Among our many non-gameday event opportunities throughout the year, teeing off from every level is one of the best and most unique ways to enjoy the stadium in the offseason.”
Indeed, as sports teams look to explore new revenue opportunities on non-matchdays, the temporary transition of stadiums into entertainment venues will grow ever more popular.
Upper Deck Golf has already visited Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs, and Yankee Stadium in recent times. TG was lucky enough to enjoy the experience at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium during the week of the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, and it is really is a fabulous day out.
For those interested in the Dodgers experience in Los Angeles, registration begins on September 25 and tee times will be available on December 4-6 from 7am to 8pm, with each slot held for two players.
