Full Throttle Saloon shutting its doors this week

This Friday will be the last day for Full Throttle Saloon in its current location in the Primavera Banquet Hall building.

The bar is located in the back of 256 Wellington Street West, but the building itself is for sale. 

“I am temporarily closed until I find a new location,” said Rosa Carello, the bar’s owner, through social media.

“Thank you to all my customers for supporting me.”

The bar opened on Nov. 17, 2025, offering not only a bar but also a buffet.

Carello spoke with SooToday’s Darren Taylor last year when the bar opened to explain why she chose the name Full Throttle.

“People automatically assume ‘biker.’ Everybody says ‘it’s a biker bar’ but no, not at all. The reason it’s called full throttle is because when I do something I do it 100 per cent, no holds barred. When I do something I put all of my heart into it,” Carello said.
