Verve has signed author Kylie Snow, whose breakout romantasy series, “The Otacian Chronicles,” has amassed more than 50 million pages read on Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited and turned her into a TikTok sensation.
Snow has also entered into a competitive, multibook deal with Hachette Book Group – with Grand Central Publishing’s major romance imprint in the U.S., Forever, and Orion Publishing Group’s science fiction and fantasy imprint, Gollancz, in the U.K.. They will first release titles “The Lies of Lena” (2026) and “The Sins of Silas” (2026), followed by “The Secrets of Enid” (2027) and several more titles in the dark fantasy romance series to be announced (“The Memories of Merrick” is slated to be independently published).
“The Otacian Chronicles” follows Lena, a secret Mage in a kingdom where magic is outlawed, who forms a bond with a prince bound by duty, only for the pair to be torn away by fate. Years later, now a feared Mage-hunter, the prince finds his lost love alive, forcing the pair to confront the painful truths of their past and their burning desire for each other. As dark forces rise, soon it is clear their forbidden love may be their realm’s last hope – or its ultimate undoing.
“The Lies of Lena” will publish in hardback (U.K. only), export trade paperback and audio on Jan. 6, 2026, in the U.S. and Jan. 8, 2026, in the U.K.
“The Sins of Silas” will publish in hardback (U.K. only), export trade paperback and audio on May 5, 2026, in the U.S. and May 7, 2026, in the U.K.
Snow, who is among a new generation of self-published authors, says video games were her first love and that she grew up playing a variety of horror and fantasy titles while also dreaming of becoming an author. Her two passions ultimately coalesced and, in just one year, the 27-year-old has gone from self-published author, with her first two titles debuting in 2024, to securing a major multi-book deal at a Big Five publisher.
In addition to her suite of upcoming titles, Snow is scheduled to appear at Romantasy BookCon, taking place in Los Angeles from Feb. 26-28, 2026, and Shadows & Seduction in New Orleans from March 13-15, 2026.
Snow says, “I signed with Verve because they don’t just support artists, they champion vision. As a full-service talent and literary agency, they understand the full scope of creative ambition and dream just as boldly as I do. I feel incredibly lucky to be represented by Verve, who values my voice, supports my vision, and reminds me that I’m capable of more than I imagined. This partnership means everything to me.”
