There’s no way to sugarcoat it: that first half of the Saskatchewan-Ottawa game wasn’t a buzzsaw by any means, but if you were fortunate enough to take the under 30 halftime score like me, then you were in luck.
As I stated on the pregame show with my All Bets Are Off segment. I had a gut shot on Dylan Djete to score an anytime touchdown, and, well, the rookie got his first CFL touchdown, which paid out nicely. All in all, it was marginal for me in that game, but we move on to this week.
There are some dandy games on the CFL schedule this week, starting with Thursday: B.C. vs Calgary. I think the Stamps could go on a bit of a run here, and they sit minus-5.5 going into the game, and the over/under is at 63.5. As Sharky and I stated last week on the Sportscage, Calgary is allergic to defence, and B.C. should be able to score. Although it’s a high number, maybe that over is in play and a simple parlay with a Stampeders money-line win.
I like the Elks minus-3.5 at home against Toronto and maybe a Justin Rankin anytime touchdown as he looks to get off the schneid.
