Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Toronto Pearson Airport

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash north of Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at Morningstar Drive and Airport Road at 8:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police said.

A motorcycle and car collided, police said.

Police said the motorcyclist sustained a head injury and was taken to a local trauma centre.

The driver of the car had minor injuries, police added.

Southbound Airport Road was shut down at Morningstar for the investigation.
