The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American receiver Rashod Owens.
Owens (6’2-218) signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft and attended training camp with the team. He registered three catches for 25 yards in the preseason. The San Antonio native signed with the Stampeders in January 2026 and spent the early part of the season on the Club’s practice roster.
Collegiately, Owens spent five seasons at Oklahoma State, suiting up for 52 games as a Cowboy. He recorded 120 career receptions for 1,771 yards and 10 touchdowns, including a career-high 63 receptions for 895 yards and five touchdowns as a junior. He was a major contributor in the team’s 2023 Texas Bowl win, where he caught 10 receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns and was named the game MVP. The 24-year-old averaged 14.8 yards per catch throughout his college career.
