Here’s more of what we enjoyed from today’s preseason games …
Chargers’ defensive dominance — After allowing a touchdown on the opening drive against Houston, the Chargers defense did not allow any points in the next 10 drives in a 27-7 win.
Burrow, Love appear in early games — Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow and Green Bay’s Jordan Love started their respective teams’ games in the earliest time slot. Not much to write home about, but both players were healthy when they exited and both completed a deeper pass to a top receiver: Ja’Marr Chase and Jayden Reed, respectively.
The Titans’ white and baby blue jerseys look incredible — This is obviously not analysis of their game, but Tennessee’s new rebrand in the Oilers’ color way looks amazing in game action. Especially when paired with the 49ers’ classic cherry red jerseys.
