Chilliwack RCMP release more info on missing Vancouver man

Chilliwack RCMP have released more details on a Vancouver man who’s been missing for two and a half months, and are again turning to the public for help.
Taetm Moon, a 28-year-old Indigenous man, was last seen on May 27.
Despite extensive follow-ups on numerous leads, he remains missing, police said.
Investigators received information indicating that Moon was at a store in Surrey in the 10500 block of King George Boulevard on the evening of May 27.
He is known to frequent backcountry and wilderness areas in Pemberton and the North Shore, so police are asking hikers, campers, climbers, outdoor recreation enthusiasts, and residents in the Squamish area to be on the lookout for him.
RCMP describe him as five-foot-11-inches tall, weighing 181 pounds. Moon has black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a plaid sweater, black shorts, and beige suede shoes.
“Taetm does not frequent the Chilliwack area but was here visiting family. He is known to stay in the Vancouver area but was last seen by family in Chilliwack on May 26,” said Cpl. Carmen Kiener, media relations officer for the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment, back in June when he was first reported missing.
Police said they remain concerned for Moon’s health and well-being, and added that family members and friends say it is out of character for him to be out of contact for such a prolonged period.
“We are asking anyone who may have seen Taetm, particularly in Surrey, Pemberton, or surrounding backcountry areas, to contact police,” Kiener said. “Even information that may appear insignificant could help investigators determine his whereabouts.”
