The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office PAL Boxing Club is really ramping things up. And they are so excited to have local, state, and regional boxers who will be showcasing their skills.

Get ready for The Return to the Clyde event on Saturday. Doors open at 3pm, fists start flying at 4pm. Tickets are $20 at the door. But kids 10 and under get in free with a paid adult.

There will be 18 matches involving 15 clubs.

PAL stands for Police Athletic League.

It’s run by Coach Joe Lorenzi, a former boxer himself. “I’m super excited. To bring new kids into this, in a space that brings back memories.”

He estimates it’s been about 10 years since boxing has been held at Clyde.

His daughter, Nora, can’t wait to get into the ring. She’s 12-years-old.
