Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning issued earlier Friday for an area east of Gananoque, Ont.

There are now no thunderstorm alerts in the region, according to Environment Canada.

The warning was yellow, the lowest on the weather agency’s three-colour scale.

Previous warnings were also issued for the Brockville and Smiths Falls areas.
