Ukrainian amateur tennis player Slava Kurbanov was killed at the front while carrying out a combat mission.
The Ukrainian Tennis Federation reported the athlete’s death.
Slava Kurbanov was an active member of the amateur tennis community. He competed in events organized by the Ukrainian Tennis Club, the “Amateur” tournament series, the “Smash” league, and other tennis associations.
Slava Kurbanov defended Ukraine from the start of the full-scale war
After Russia launched its full-scale invasion, Slava Kurbanov voluntarily joined the defense of Ukraine. He fought in the most intense areas of the front and had a strong civic stance.
