Surrey Sikh gurdwara seeking donations for B.C. wildfire victims

The Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey is seeking donations to support B.C. communities impacted by wildfires.

They especially need medical-grade face masks, along with clothing, baby supplies, non-perishable food, pet food, hygiene items, medical supplies, and items such as power banks and charging cables.

The first round of donations will be delivered this weekend to people and communities directly affected by the fires.

The donations can be dropped off at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara (7050 120 St.).

There are currently 116 wildfires burning across B.C., with four being described by BC Wildfire Service as wildfires of note: Ainslie Creek, Brunswick Creek, Pear Lake and Bald Range fires.
