Vancouver cello quartet returns to Chilliwack

The Vancouver Cello Quartet will return to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre for a concert on Sept. 9.
Vancouver Cellists Luke Kim, Ashton Lim, Kevin Park and Lee Duckles will be performing.
Music to be featured during the performance includes classical music composed by Beethoven, Mozart and Fauré, as well as more modern songs by Coldplay and Queen.
“Comprised of four of Vancouver’s most accomplished cellists, the Vancouver Cello Quartet has built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of traditional chamber music,” according to a press release from the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. “Through masterful arrangements and imaginative repertoire, the ensemble seamlessly bridges classical masterpieces with contemporary works, showcasing the cello’s remarkable range of colour, texture, and emotion.”
The performance will be held at the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre and will start at 7:30 p.m.
