Lucha Libre AAA airs live on Saturday night (Aug. 15, 2026) from Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. In storyline, this marks the first time that Dominik Mysterio will be in the same building as El Grande Americano since the infamous betrayal against Los Perros del Mal. Potential for drama is high. On the wrestling tip, Fenix defends the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against challenger Noisy Boy. Psycho Clown battles La Parka in what I am dubbing the ‘Roman Reigns Invitational Tournament’ with the final prize being a WWE world title shot against the Tribal Chief at Raw in Mexico City.

WWE AAA LUCHA LIBRE RESULTS FOR AUGUST 15

Brawl! AAA mega champion Dominik Mysterio entered the arena with a cocky stride. He was attacked by El Grande Americano, and they brawled to the ring. EGA was fired up and served knuckle sandwiches to pound Dom. General manager Rey Mysterio ran from commentary in an effort to restore order. Rey pulled EGA off his son. Dirty Dom retaliated for a low blow on EGA. Rey pulled Dom off. Father and son stood face to face as Dominik disrespected the general manager’s authority. EGA lunged forward, and Dom escaped through the ropes. Rey tackled EGA to cease the fisticuffs. EGA grabbed the mic to speak about how Dominik isn’t a true king (of the luchadores). Mexican legends gave it all to lucha libre, whereas Dom takes from lucha libre. At Triplemania in Mexico City, the mega title fight goes down. EGA will fight for the crown, the people, and the country. That’s the difference between him and Dom. Dominik yawned through this trash talk.

AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Fenix (c) defeated Noisy Boy to retain the title. The challenger showed flash on offense. He hit the groove for a springboard poison rana and a handspring moonsault. Noisy climbed the corner for a proper moonsault. Fenix rolled away, and Noisy crashed on the mat. The champion seized the moment for the Mexican musclebuster to win. Fenix celebrated with Wile E. Coyote in the front row, then he went up stage to share the moment with his brother, Penta.

Penta and Los Perros del Mal. Penta spoke to the crowd about Roman Reigns. He will win the tournament to face Reigns for the WWE world title on Raw in Mexico City. The thing about Reigns is that he needs family/faction to achieve his goals. Penta fights by himself. Enter Los Perros del Mal. After a little bit of tension, Penta hugged Daga and los Garza. Daga explained to the crowd that he joined Los Perros first and Penta joined two years later. Together, they conquered the world. Sadly, they lost Perro Aguayo Jr. Los Perros parted ways over the years, but they still conquered the world. That’s what brings them together today. Daga pointed out how Penta will need family to watch his back against Reigns. Daga handed a Perros shirt to Penta with the invitation to come home. Penta looked conflicted about the decision. His answer was to think it over. Daga warned that Penta has until the end of the night.

Roman Reigns Invitational Tournament: La Parka defeated Psycho Clown. Tournament winner to challenge for WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Raw in Mexico City on September 14. Exciting back and forth action. A ref bump opened the door for chaos. Psycho was dropkicked into the corner. He stumbled around pulling off the turnbuckle pad. The referee was focused on placing the pad back on the buckle. Meanwhile, Psycho rammed Parka colliding into the ref. Psycho hit the Psycho Driver, but no ref to count the pin. Psycho ripped off his own face. Lights out. The mysterious masked maniac returned to maul Psycho. Parka benefit to hit the Bonebreaker to win. Parka was innocent in the assault. Nonetheless, he advances to face Penta in the next round.

Penta’s decision. Los Perros approached Penta in the locker room. Penta explained that the Perros shirt is part of his history, and Daga is like a brother. However, Penta wants to know that everyone has earned the right to wear the shirt. He questioned if there was dead weight in the group while eyeing Bronco Nima. Bronco stepped up. He’ll show Penta one-on-one next week. If Penta wins, he can do as he pleases about Los Perros. If Bronco wins, then Penta must join Los Perros, raise Bronco’s hand, and recognize that he is part of this family. Penta agreed to the match, because cero miedo.
