A man is dead and three others have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Brampton early Sunday morning.
Peel Regional Police say the collision happened around 1:10 a.m. on The Gore Road near Castle Oaks Crossing.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, investigators say.
Three other people were transported to a local trauma centre with injuries that were considered non- life-threatening.
Police have not released additional information about those involved in the crash, including their ages or places of residence.
The Gore Road remained closed in both directions between Gardenbrooke Trail and Castle Oaks Crossing as police investigated.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. It’s not clear whether the roadways have since reopened.
