A man who was considered a suspect in the death on Saturday of a 44-year-old woman in the St-Michel district has died in hospital, a Montreal police spokesperson said.
“The 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital,” spokesperson Manual Couture said on Thursday.
The man was found badly injured when police arrived at the crime scene on Saturday. He was taken to a hospital and he was unable to appear in court for days.
