Organization holds fundraiser Sept. 5 at Chilliwack Golf Club
LIFE Recovery Association in Abbotsford holds its 27th annual golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 5 at Chilliwack Golf Club.
The tournament starts with lunch followed by a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. The event concludes with dinner and an auction.
The fundraiser supports operational costs and subsidizes women’s recovery programming.
“We’re thrilled to bring our supporters together again for a fun and impactful day,” says Carole Jorgensen, business administrator. “Last year’s tournament raised $109,000 and we’re aiming even higher in 2025.”
Over the past 26 years, LIFE Recovery Association has walked alongside women in their journey to freedom from addiction – providing more than 140,000 clean and sober days through its residential recovery program.
More than 65 per cent of the organization’s staff and board are personally connected to the journey of addiction and recovery.
In addition to participating in the tournament, other ways people can support the event include sponsorship or the donation of auction items or cash.
