A 15-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after he was found seriously injured near a moped on the side of a road in Les Cèdres, in the Montérégie region, overnight.
Provincial police say they are now looking for witnesses to the hit-and-run.
The teen was found by a motorist on the side of Route 338, between St-Féréol and St-Dominique roads, just before 1 a.m. Sunday.
Police ask anyone who might have seen a vehicle in the area with damage consistent with a collision with a moped to reach out to 1-800-659-4264.
