Brampton residents can now register for the city’s fall recreation programs, with hundreds of activities available for children, youth, adults and seniors.

Registration for most 2026 fall recreation programs, winter break camps and the fall session of the Brampton Sports League opened Monday, Aug. 24 at 7 a.m. for Brampton residents.

The fall recreation session runs from Sept. 21 to Dec. 13.

Programs include swimming, skating, sports, fitness, dance, arts and music, STEAM activities, camps, general interest courses and programs for seniors.

Sports programs include basketball, soccer, cricket, tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, golf, racquet and paddle sports, flag football, rugby and hockey, among others.

Families can also register children and youth for a variety of swimming and skating programs, as well as dance, arts, camps and STEAM activities.

The city is also offering free programs and special events, including drop-in activities.

Residents interested in the city’s Learn to Swim and Learn to Skate programs will have to wait a little longer. Registration for those programs opens Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7 a.m.

The city is reminding residents that recreation registration now opens at 7 a.m., rather than later in the morning. Popular programs can fill quickly, so residents looking for a particular activity are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Residents should also make sure their recreation registration account is up to date and that their Brampton residency has been verified.

Residency verification gives Brampton residents an earlier opportunity to register than non-residents. It can be completed at a recreation centre by providing photo identification and proof of address.

Registration is available online, in person and through the Brampton Recreation Registration App, which allows residents to browse programs, register and make payments from a mobile device.

Non-resident registration for most programs begins Monday, Sept. 7 at 7 a.m., with a second registration date set for Monday, Sept. 21 at 7 a.m.

The city also has Brampton Recreation gift cards available in physical and digital formats. The cards can be used toward eligible recreation programs, camps, memberships, lessons and other recreation services at participating facilities.

Physical gift cards have a minimum purchase amount of $10, while both physical and digital cards can be loaded with flexible amounts.

With registration now open, residents can check available programs and schedules and secure a spot for the fall session before popular activities fill up.
