Angel Reese just broke two WNBA rebounding records while playing against the Los Angeles Sparks, and fans cannot believe how dominant she looked.
Reese had 26 rebounds against the Sparks, which broke the all-time record for most boards in a single WNBA game.
On top of that, Reese broke A’Ja Wilson’s record for the most rebounds in a single WNBA season (451), now sitting at 458 rebounds for the year.

With Angel Reese breaking multiple WNBA rebounding records in a single night, many fans took to social media to share their thoughts on her accolade.
One fan wrote, “If you switched the name to Dennis Rodman, people would be glazing.”
Another fan echoed these sentiments, noting, “She is female Dennis Rodman; nothing more nothing less.”
A third fan demanded more respect on Reese’s name, highlighting her stats by saying, “Imagine having 82 points, 60 rebounds, 25 assists, and 17 steals your last four games All wins and people try to come to your page and tell you you ain’t one of the best players in the league.”
However, not everyone was complimentary of her performance, as one fan wrote, “She shot 28% from the field, by the way,” while another fan pointed out her numbers, saying, “She shot 4/14 from the field.”
A sixth fan questioned the nature of her records, noting, “Stat padding unwillingly? Should we call it that?”

And lastly, one fan was far more critical, claiming, “The Queen of MeBounds. She might as well dribble off the backboard, she’s less than even 50% on shots. What is wild is defense letting her just keep getting ball after shooting. Is it make a wish?”
Reese put up 11 points, 26 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals while shooting 4-14 from the field and going 3-4 from the free-throw line.
While by no means were her offensive numbers anything to write home about, it’s hard to ignore the impact she had on the boards.
And for all of the critics who accuse her of statpadding by grabbing offensive rebounds off of her own misses (dubbed by fans as ‘MeBounds’), Reese only had eight boards on the offensive glass.
Over the last few weeks, Reese has been in the form of her life, putting up some excellent performances as she hopes to lead the Dream with a great deal of momentum heading into the playoffs.
