Drivers on a Brampton highway could be in for delays after a transport truck rolled onto its side in Brampton on Wednesday.

The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. near the interaction of Sandalwood Parkway East and Highway 410 in Brampton, Peel Regional Police said in a post on social media around 2 p.m.

Police say a single tractor trailer unit tipped over onto its side.

No injuries have been reported, but police have put closures in place while clean up is underway.

Sandalwood Parkway is closed in both directions to all traffic between Great Lakes Drive and Heartlake Road.

All eastbound traffic from Heartlake Road is being diverted onto the southbound lanes of Highway 410.

Police say there are delays on Highway 410, and drivers are being urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
