On Tuesday’s America’s Got Talent Quarterfinals 2, Thai guitarist and rock vocalist Nene Royal blew the roof off of the auditorium with her cover of Soundgarden’s classic “Black Hole Sun.” The audience demanded that Mel B hit the Golden Buzzer for Nene, which she did, sending her straight through to the Season 21 finals. Now the remaining 10 performers await the results of the overnight vote to determine which three acts will advance to the semifinals.
They are: Spanish singer Bety, sideshow duo Brad & Tracy, vocal duo Butter & Grit, Korean dance group Come Here, magician Geno Ploeger, rapper LaRussell, British singer Mackenzie Sol, vocal duo Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm, German dancer Patrox, and acrobat/aerialist Veronika Goroshkova.
AGT host Terry Crews once again joined Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofía Vergara at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Simon Cowell was still out of commission due to his back surgery.
