Thursday is expected to bring showers, wind gusts and a risk of thunderstorms in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.
Environment and Climate Change Canada says the morning will be mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.
There’s also a risk of thunderstorms in the morning, and a west wind blowing around 20 km/h with gusts up to 40 km/h.
The daytime high will be around 27 C in Mississauga, but could feel more like 31 C due to the humidity. The UV index will be a 6 or “high,” the weather agency says.

Thursday night will also be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers across the GTA and southern Ontario. A northwest wind blowing around 20 km/h is expected to become light around midnight, and the overnight low will be around 14 C.
Conditions are expected to improve on Friday with a return of sunny skies and a high of 22 C that could feel more like 23 C in Mississauga due to the humidity, and an overnight low of around 19 C, The Weather Network says.
The weekend should also bring clear skies, with a high of 23 C in Mississauga that will feel more like 25 C on Saturday, while the overnight low will be around 16 C.
Sunday is expected to be sunny with a high of 26 C that will feel more like 32 C in Mississauga, and an overnight low of around 19 C.
