According to Front Office Sports’ August 26 report, the game recorded 3.31 million views on NBC and Peacock. To put things in perspective, the four games from last year’s finals saw just 1.5 million views on ESPN networks.
While the game did see controversial moments like former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom’s removal from the venue, Fever guard Clark remained the highlight of the game.
Both Clark and Kelsey Mitchell contributed heavily to the Fever’s 113-90 win over the Sky, scoring a combined 67 points.
Clark alone scored a whopping 37 points, making it one of the best games in her WNBA career. She also recorded a career-high eight 3-pointers, three rebounds, and added 10 assists in the same game.
The views proved once more just how much the Indiana Fever’s popularity and stellar performance this season has helped the WNBA.
It was also the best comeback Clark could hope for, after her 2025 season was marred by injuries, limiting her to just 13 appearances. Clark has proved that she remains the league’s most dominant force.

According to an August 26 Bleacher Report article, Clark has been averaging 22.1 points, 8.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game. She has also maintained a 45.0% success rate from the field and a 36.8% success rate from behind the arc.
Furthermore, Clark became a WNBA All-Star for the third year in a row. She also became the fastest player to reach 1,000 points, 250 rebounds, and 250 assists (54 games), and 200 Three-Pointers (74 games).
Clark seems to have no intention of slowing down any time soon either, especially with the Fever entering the playoffs with the fifth seed and a 25-14 record, and being a heavy favorite to win the MVP title this postseason.
