Kinton Ramen is continuing its growth in Vancouver.
The Toronto-based chain has quickly opened 14 locations in B.C. since 2020, with 11 in Metro Vancouver (they just opened one in New Westminster this month).
Now another is on its way to West Broadway.
The new location will be at 511 West Broadway, according to the city’s business licence directory, at the intersection with Cambie Street. The address had been a Lumiere Coffee, but that closed in March.
Kinton, which has won multiple awards in Toronto’s food scene over the last few years, features pork, chicken, beef and vegetarian ramen with a variety of toppings. They also offer a few sides like kimchi and gyoza, as well as donburi on the menu.
The quick-service ramen restaurant has seen rapid growth recently. The chain opened its first location in 2012. In 2020, it opened its first Metro Vancouver location at UBC.
It has locations in five Canadian provinces, as well as a single spot in a small town north of New York City.
