Mick Foley is asking two fans to make things right after an “unfortunate incident” that took place at his comedy show in Birmingham, England.
At his one-man shows, Foley always does a “shirt off my back” charity auction where fans can bid to win the shirt that he’s wearing. The show in Birmingham had a winning bid of £900 (more than $1000) from two fans for Foley’s T-shirt and outer shirt. Foley was thrilled to raise so much money. He took pictures with the two men, thanked them, and autographed the shirts — but the two ended up running off instead of paying the money they promised.
The incident showed both the best and worst of humanity, Foley says, with three or four people making donations that allowed him to raise $600 for the Cauliflower Alley Club. Foley called on the two men to make things right by at least returning the shirts they took. He would like for them to make a donation, even if they’re unable to pay the full amount they pledged.
“I would like to address those two guys that chose to run. You know who you are. We know who you are. And we’re going to give you a couple of days to do the right thing,” Foley said. “At the very least, you return the shirt. It would be really nice if you made a donation. I don’t expect £900, that’s a lot of money. Maybe you guys shouldn’t do that when you’re drinking. Maybe you shouldn’t make promises that you can’t keep. But if you don’t do something — some small way of atoning — not only will you know who you are, and not only will I know who you are, but a lot of people will know who you are. Because there were cameras everywhere.”
Foley’s caption attached to the video on his Instagram stories added that they have the two men on camera committing a crime and have plenty of witnesses who saw what happened.
The auctions that Foley holds have raised more than $40,000 for the Cauliflower Alley Club in total, with that money going toward wrestlers and former wrestlers who have fallen on hard times or have other financial needs.

Aside from the incident, the Birmingham event was one of Foley’s favorite one-man shows he’s ever done. It was held at The Glee Club on Thursday, with Foley now having events in Cardiff (August 28) and London (August 31) as he rounds out his “40 Years of Foley” tour.
These one-man shows are happening during Foley’s trip to the United Kingdom for AEW All In 2026. He’ll be part of the show in his broadcasting role and is also scheduled for AEW’s All Out pay-per-view in the Chicago area on September 26. Foley debuted for AEW this May and should have a more regular presence going forward, though he won’t be around every week.
