Rabindra Rimal learned of the devastating flash floods in Nepal during a late-night phone call from his brother. The town in Nepal he grew up in was completely wiped out by flash flooding and the home his mother had been living in was destroyed. Through the devastation, that’s claimed hundred of lives, Edmonton’s Nepali community have rallied behind Rimal and other affected. Gates Guarin has the story.
