So, yesterday, I’m browsing on Daily Kos, as I’m won’t to do, and start reading the comments to a diary about Milo Yiannopoulos’ arrest by ICE. ThomasPaineEsq wrote a comment that said, “I think I just saw a leopard walk by with a belly full of this guy’s face”, and my brain decided to read it to the tune of Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London”.

So I’ve done my own version of Werewolves of London called, “Leopards of MAGA”.

As you read, keep in mind Warren Zevon is a genius and I am not.

I tried to keep my version as close to Warren Zevon’s as I could. Here’s a link to the lyrics.

Here’s Warren Zevon singing the song, to help you sing along, if you’d like:

I saw a leopard with a list of countries in his hands

Walking through Ocean Boulevard in the rain

He was looking for a place to digest his latest face

Maybe grab a bribe from the Prince of Bahrain

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

If you hear him growling around your farmhouse door

Better not let him in

Farmer paying tarriffs got their face chewed off

Leopards of MAGA dining in

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

He’s the hairy pawed cat who’s worried he’s getting fat

From all the faces he’s eaten

Better stay away from him

He’ll eat your face off, Jim

Maybe don’t vote for a guy who likes mistreating

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

I saw Donald Trump walking with Natalie

Training the Leopards of MAGA

I saw Donald Trump Jr talking with Andrew Tate

They’re running from the Leopards of MAGA

I saw a leopard walking by with a belly full of Milo’s face

Leopard’s teeth were perfect

Ha!

Ah-Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

Ah=Hoo! Leopards of MAGA

Ah-Hoo!

We’ll get straight to the point: The financial hardships that Daily Kos is facing this year are tough.

We continue to be paywall-free. We continue to be supported by our readers, not billionaires or corporations. But we need to bring in more revenue. We are leaning on our community more than ever to help make ends meet.

Power matters.
