3. What are your key campaign priorities?
My platform rests on 4 pillars to Make Mississauga Better:
Pillar 1: Make life in Mississauga more affordable to live, easier to work, and safer to grow.
Pillar 2: Deliver a City Hall that works at the speed of business to keep Mississauga’s economy thriving.
Pillar 3: Protect neighbourhood identity while preparing Mississauga for the future.
Pillar 4: Ensure a Mississauga where everyone has equal access to local opportunities.
4. What budget item is most important for Mississauga?
Infrastructure and MiWay.Our sewer network is already failing (32% of inspected stormwater facilities needed intervention in 2024), and MiWay’s Central Parkway and Malton facilities have hit capacity while demand keeps growing.
You cannot build a growing city when its structure (pipes, roads, public transportation, etc.) is already maxed out.
So in my Year 1 as mayor isn’t a spending year (it’s a maintenance and review year). Before spending on big plans, I will commission an independent, honest inspection of Our City’s water, sewer, road, and transit systems, and build a real plan from what we find, with residents at the table. Year 2 is where that plan becomes investment: Infrastructure and MiWay first, then the Housing, permitting, procurement, and safety systems that make every other dollar in this city work harder.
Every resident gets one legible plain-language Total Tax Bill, every budget cycle, so nobody has to guess what they’re paying or why.
