What we like about this 83-inch Samsung S90H OLED 4K Smart TV
83-inch self-emissive OLED panel
The Samsung S90H uses an 83-inch OLED panel with individually controlled self-emissive pixels, allowing the screen to produce true blacks without relying on a conventional backlight. This gives the TV extremely strong contrast, particularly in dark scenes where black areas can remain genuinely black rather than appearing grey.
Glare Free treatment improves bright-room usability
Samsung’s Glare Free technology is designed to reduce reflections from windows, lamps, and other strong light sources. That is especially useful on an 83-inch screen because its large surface area can otherwise reflect a substantial amount of ambient light in brighter rooms.

OLED HDR+ with strong contrast control
OLED HDR+ takes advantage of the panel’s pixel-level illumination to deliver bright highlights alongside deep blacks. Because each pixel can switch independently, the S90H avoids the blooming and haloing that can affect conventional LED-backlit TVs around bright objects on dark backgrounds.
NQ4 AI Gen3 processor
Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen3 processor uses a large collection of neural-network models to enhance picture and sound processing. It handles tasks such as 4K upscaling, motion refinement, scene analysis, and image enhancement, helping lower-resolution sources look more consistent on the large 4K panel.
Up to 165Hz gaming support
Although the TV’s standard refresh rate is listed as 120Hz, Samsung’s Ultimate Gaming Pack enables compatible PC gaming at up to 4K 165Hz. This makes the S90H unusually capable for a television of this size, particularly when paired with a sufficiently powerful gaming PC.
NVIDIA G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium Pro support
Variable-refresh-rate support helps synchronize the display’s refresh cycle with compatible graphics hardware, reducing tearing and minimizing judder caused by fluctuating frame rates. Support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro makes the S90H especially flexible for both GeForce- and Radeon-based gaming systems.
Who should buy this Samsung S90H deal?
The Samsung S90H is best suited to users who want an extremely large premium OLED TV for mixed entertainment, particularly movies, streaming, sports, and gaming. Its 83-inch size makes it particularly appropriate for larger living rooms, dedicated media spaces, and users who want a more cinematic viewing experience without moving to a projector. It is also a strong choice for gaming enthusiasts who want OLED response characteristics alongside high-refresh-rate PC gaming, VRR support, and HDMI connectivity. However, users planning to run static desktop interfaces for very long periods should still consider the usual OLED image-retention considerations.
